November 2012

Merry Christmas!

and a
Happy and Healthy New Year
from
 Maisie and Mike

Hi again

Here’s the news for November! Two birthdays here this month - Simon's, which we celebrated at Jo's Art Awards night, and Tricia's - which should be in the December blog, but we'll have lots of Christmas photos to go up then, so I've included her celebration in this month's. If you want to, you can click on a photo to enlarge it and you can also then see them all as a slide show.

As Tricia's birthday was a special one, Aveni arranged for us all to go to their place for an English High Tea, which made a nice change and was really good with all sorts of sandwiches and finger food as well as wine to celebrate.

Mike's Via Del Plata book of his experiences on one of his Spanish walks can now be viewed as a 'Look Inside' book on the Amazon Books web pages. It has loads of nice photos in, and is A4 size this time! The links are as follows:-
For anyone interested who lives in Australia, you'll need to look at it on amazon.com as there is no Amazon Australia yet, then contact Mike. Just click on of the link below:-

Re my bowls, the weekly Pennants, our division is not doing too well so far this, but it's early days yet, chuckle! The Ladies Championships have started and our team didn't quite win the Major title in the Championship Fours this year, as we did last year, but we were the runners up.
The Triples start this week.

Here's a few more of Mike's local photos.

Just before a big storm!

See you all again next month!
