Here’s the news for May! There’s lots of photos as apart from Thornlie Bowling Club Awards Night and Mother’s day, we’ve been down to visit John and family in Denmark (WA), so I’ll cut down as much as possible on the text, chuckle!

We had a lovely week in Denmark with John. Silvia and the kids, and this time we took my little car instead of the camper van and stayed in the new house, which was very nice indeed, especially as John and Silvia gave up their bed and ensuite for us, chuckle! The weather was perfect for the 1st four days, but then we had pouring rain and a thunderstorm during the next two days, then the last few days were lovely again. It was a good time to go as, on our final weekend, Silvia went up to Perth for a workshop, and the Denmark Festival of Voice was on. John was a volunteer helper, so we were there to look after the children while he was out, which we enjoyed very much.
Here’s some photos and videos:

All the family are well and busy of course. Simon is still working on getting his latest Hal Spacejock book for kids ready for publishing while the rest of the family paints/studies, and Alex and Jo recently won some prestigious prizes for their work!
John and Silvia still have a lot to do in and around the house, which they fit in between working and running the children about for their various activities.
I’m still bowling 2 or 3 times a week even though it’s the winter season. Mike hasn’t been able to walk as much as he’d like, as he’s had trouble with his knee and can only do short walks at the moment. He has to have a CT scan on it this week to see if anything can be done about it.
Mike is updating his Mike Downunder blog with his version of events, and some different photos!
That about brings us up to date!
Enjoy! See you all again next month.
