April 2013

Hi everyone

April has been and gone already! How time flies.
We've had our 52nd Anniversary this month as well as Jo's and Silvia's birthdays. Apart from that Mike bought a new camera which he has been trying out, and I have his old one which I am learning how to use, so this month's blog will consist mainly of photos, chuckle!
My laptop developed a line across the screen, so that has been in for repair for 2 weeks, so not much computer work got done. (Also Mike had to exchange his new camera for another one due to a charging up fault, but he only had to wait a couple of days for that)

Other news is that Lizzie is enjoying her sojourn in Italy on the school trip, Alex is still busy with Seniors and her Art study, Jo is still busy painting and teaching and Simon is always busy doing all sorts of stuff!

John, Silvia and the kids went to a music festival in Fairbridge (here in WA) and although they enjoyed some of it, Maya was unwell some of the time, but is getting better now.

Here's the photos: (If you want to view them larger but without captions, just click on the 1st one and you will get a new window with them all in a row at the bottom)

Jo's birthday

Jo's 'cake'! We'd missed her actual birthday so she had a small celebration at home for us.

Now various photos - a couple of John's, some with Mike's new camera and some of mine with his old one

A four leaf clover which Benjamin found all by himself!

Emil's oil painting

It was a school project to paint the picture. Here's a link to the original:
