Hello once again!
March has been and gone - how time flies! The month for us went exceptionally quickly as we spent 2 weeks of it in and around Denmark WA, taking the van so we could do a bit of bush camping as well as staying with John and Silvia. It was great, even though the weather wasn't and we had a lovely time, so we have loads of photos! (There's quite a lot of our Denmark grandkids at the end at their school's Autumn Equinox celebration)) While we were there, I played bowls at the local club and won a bottle of wine in a raffle the first time, then on the following Friday won the Scroungers so received 2 bottles of wine, chuckle! Mike did some walking while I bowled.
Firstly though, here's all the other general news:
John and Silvia celebrated their anniversary and we babysat for them so they could have an 'overnighter' in Nornalup by the river. They had a great time, and managd to get some canoeing in too!
Jo is still busy 'arting' in various places, and Lizzie won a prize for her Numbat picture at the Beverly Art Exhibition. She has also done very well at school and is off to Italy with some of her school mates for an educational visit very soon. Alex is still drawing beautiful pictures under the tuition of her Art teacher and is also enjoying teaching Senior Citizens. Simon won a $500 gym membership in a competition for a photograph of his shadow on a bike.
As there are so many photos of our holiday I will put them up with captions underneath. If you want to see just the photos, just click on the first one and it should bring up a window where you can view them one after the other by clicking on them.
