Just a small blog this month as the only event was Father's Day. The photos are mostly of flowers etc.

The bowls season is now in full swing and I managed to get to the semi finals of the Ladies 2 Bowl Singles before getting knocked out. We also had our 1st Pennant Practice and all our division did well, so hopefully that's a good sign for the rest of the season.
All the family are OK and working hard or studying.
Mike has to have a hernia operation very soon, so he has been doing a lot of weeding of the front garden before he goes in, as it'll be up to me for a while afterwards to keep everything in order, chuckle! It's good that he's managed to get the op done quickly so that we can be all prepared for my cousin Steve and Ulla's visit early next year. They also live in Denmark - but Denmark in Europe!

Not sure what this one's called, but it always looks lovely when it's in full bloom in the back garden! It's the nearest we get to seeing snow! (Taken through the bedroom window)
