Hi all
Another month has flown past! Sorry this blog is later than normal, but we've been down to Denmark (WA) for a short break with John, Silvia and family.
At the beginning of April we celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary with a nice breakfast at the weir cafe. We drove round, then had a nice walk along the miniature railway lines and back. It was a lovely morning.
The next event of importance was Jo's birthday, which we celebrated a few days early with Jo, Si and the girls, then on the actual day at the weir cafe again when we had breakfast with her!

Shortly afterwards we headed down to Denmark (WA) for our sojourn with John, Silvia and the grandchildren. We had mixed weather, but managed to get out and about most days. Here's a load of photos with captions, chuckle!

Here's a short video of take off attempts (sorry if the quality is not too good, but I've forgotten how to do it!)
More adjustments needed!
Greens Pool on a chilly day. They'd tried fishing, but it was too windy, so they swam instead and said it was warmer in the water than out!

Now the sunsets on the same day:

While we were in Denmark, Silvia celebrated her birthday:

Emil on violin and John accompanying him on ukulele provided some musical entertainment (once again - sorry if the quality is not too good, but I've forgotten how to do it!)
Both Emil and Maya play soccer now, (as does Lizzie too!) but while we were there, Emil played in the morning at Albany and Maya in the afternoon. As it was Maya's first match, and we had watched Emil on a previous visit, we decided we would take her in the afternoon. Here are some action photos. Maya is number 16.

| They managed to stop this near goal! |
Another fishing attempt:
 |
| Benjamin decided to watch...... |
 |

These were some of the last photos we took before coming home:

We had a really lovely time with them all!
Jo, Si, Alex and Lizzie are all still busy with their various commitments. Jo is still doing well with her art, Alex is out and about with her boyfriend and also helping Seniors with their art. Lizzie, as I mentioned earlier, is now playing soccer at the weekends as well as studying at Uni. Such busy lives everyone leads these days!
Well, that's it for now, so 'bye' until next month.
Enjoy!
