This has been a fairly quiet month for us, with the only family event being Father's Day which we celebrated with Jo, Simon and family. Here's a few photos. I bet the 1st one is the only time you've seen one like it!

The rest of the month we've spent a lot of the time gardening as the weather has been so nice lately. Here's some photos, mainly of the Freesias which have excelled themselves this year, so we must have done something right!

Below is a busy bee in some flowers we have which look like miniature antirrhinums (snapdragons). I'm not sure what their proper name is.
These are other plants in the front garden.

Mike took some lovely photos of some little duckings with their mother, while cycling along the river....
......but later on, while he was taking photos of these cygnets...........
....someone stole his bike!
Re the rest of the family - Jo is still putting her art works into Exhibitions and winning prizes occasionally, the girls are still enjoying Uni and Si is always busy with something!
John and family are getting used to their temporary life in Germany, although I think school is very tiring for the kids, it being all in German, but they are coping well. Here's a couple of photos he sent recently.
and here's Benjamin trapped in a bubble!
Re bowls - Pennant Practice has now begun and the season will be in full swing very shortly so I will have even less time to do all the other things that I'm supposed to do, chuckle!
That's it for now - see you next month, hopefully! Enjoy!
