As you can see I've changed the style of my blog, so I hope it fits on all your PC and mobile phone screens!
Quite a few events this month starting off with Mike's birthday. We had a small family BBQ at Riverton Bridge.

Here's a panaramic photo Simon took on Mike's camera for us.
Afterwards, Mike and I went for a short walk, and we found this yellow arrow! Surely you can't walk to Santiago de Compostella from here! (Yellow arrows mark the way on the Camino walks)
Jo has been doing lots of various genres of Art and amongst other prizes and comendations, won - at the Cockburn Dalmatinac Art and Craft Exhibition - this trophy for 1st prize in watercolour, and she also got the Highly Commended Oil/Acrylic (Ink figure drawing) and the Highly Commended Aspects of Cockburn which was another watercolour. She is doing very well at the moment.
The next event was Lizzie's 18th birthday. We went with all the family to a local restaurant to celebrate, and had a lovely evening.

The birthday girl and cake!

Jo trying to get us all in a photo! |

The last birthday of the month was mine, but as I play bowls on Friday afternoons and am usually whacked out when I get home, Mike and I celebrated at home and he cooked me a lovely meal of salmon, potatoes in butter, mustard and parsley, skinned and fried capsicums with baby tomatoes. It was delicious. For dessert we had ice cream with flaked dark chocolate and chocolate licquer!
I had a lovely day and was also lucky enough to win a small prize in the Friday afternoon bowls game, chuckle!
Here's a picture of the full moon, showing how it looks 'downunder' for those of you who have never seen an Australian full moon.
Mike's Mark 2 Spitfire is still a 'work in progress' as you can see below.
Some of you may remember that last month Mike had his bike stolen while taking photos. He was lucky enough to be given another by one of his walking friends.
Finally here's some photos Mike took on his bike rides.

During their sojourn in Germany, John, Silvia and family have managed to fit in a visit to the UK to see some of our relatives and were warmly welcomed by all of them. They had a great time and were thoroughly spoilt. They drove there and back, visiting friends in Belgium and Germany on the way, and also managing a visit to Lego Land on the return trip back to Konz (Trier).
That's about us up to date. See you all again next month, hopefully, chuckle!
Enjoy!
