We've been down to Denmark (WA) again this month, so there are quite a lot of photos and some musical videos of Emil and Maya. However the month started with Father's Day, which we spent at home this year as our visit to Denmark was scheduled for later in the month. Here's a couple of photos I took of Mike .

Unfortunately I couldn't get any nice mussels at this time.

Next came our trip to see the family in Denmark. We surprised them all by going down a couple of days before we'd planned to and that ended up being just in time for me to go with the family to Emil's High School Concert. He played about 3 items, one of which was the violin solo The Orange Blossom Special. I didn't have my camera with me, as it had all been such a rush, and Mike had been too tired from driving to come, so a few days later I video'd Emil playing it at home. I think you'll agree he certainly has great talent!
On the Saturday, when Silvia was busy rehearsing for the play she is putting on in October, Maya was practising some singing and guitar playing with a friend and Benjamin was at a friends house playing, we went with John and Emil for a walk up to the Denmark windmills.

In the afternoon Jo had some paintings in the Mills Art Group gallery. She was also the curator, having help from her friends in the group to set it all up.

The same evening, after tea, we went to hear Maya and her friend Mei play and sing in the Youth Concert. John took some video for me, so here's a couple of snippets.
This one is called The Chain by Ingrid Michaelson and they sang it 'a capella'.......
and this is one which Maya wrote herself called Those Days.
Next day we had a coffee in town, then a nice walk along the river and back via the other side and took these photos

For the next few days we stayed with Jo where she was house sitting at Single File Wines. The views from the house were lovely and Mike took some close ups of some of the flowers,

See you all again next month, with a bit of luck!!
